Zeyad Abdullah Basheer, born in 1997 in Kurdistan, Iraq, is a pharmacist and academic with a strong background in clinical pharmacy and pharmacology. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Eastern Mediterranean University in 2019 and went on to earn his Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy from Near East University in 2022. Zeyad has accumulated over three years of professional experience working in community pharmacy, where he honed his skills in patient counseling, pharmaceutical care, and safe medication use. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively engaged in academia as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Pharmacy, Cihan University–Duhok, where he also serves as the Rapporteur for the College of Pharmacy. His academic and professional journey reflects a deep interest in clinical cases, therapeutic decision-making, and drug mechanisms, particularly within the disciplines of clinical pharmacy and pharmacology. He is committed to integrating academic knowledge with practical expertise to improve patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery. Looking ahead, Zeyad Abdullah Basheer aims to expand his contributions to research, teaching, and professional practice. His areas of interest include Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Drug Mechanisms, Therapeutics, and Patient-Centered Care. He strongly believes in continuous learning, teamwork, and innovation as essential tools for advancing pharmacy practice and healthcare services both locally and internationally.
